My name is Shulungu Feza Rachel from Beni Congo. “In 2016, the brutality of the civil war forced my husband and children to make their way to Uganda as refugees. We reached Kampala with nothing to call our own, had no way to find a job due to the language barrier, and meeting our daily needs was mostly problematic. In 2019, I learned from a close friend that trainings were taking place to learn how to design bags. Life became easier when I managed to sell the handbags in my small store, which allowed me to send my children to school.
