I-Strive Marketplace is a tale of resilience and renewal. It is a story about Congolese refugees’ and Ugandan women who have embarked on an artistic journey from conflict through socio-economic shocks and stressors to find hope and transformation through creativity and craftsmanship. 

Located in the heart of Entebbe town at 101 Kampala Road and in Kitooro at Shop No. 2, Plot 21 Fulu Road, Royal Red Complex, in Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso District, Uganda, the I-Strive Marketplace is a radiant oasis of colors, culture, and creativity. The moment you step inside these stores, you are immediately transported into a world where the stories of Ugandan women in Entebbe and Congolese refugees living in Kampala come to life through their extraordinary arts and crafts.

The vibrant array of paintings, handmade baskets, jewelry, and apparel reflects the diversity of talent and tradition from various communities in Uganda. The shelves are like a living gallery, showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures that have found solace and inspiration here.

I-Strive Marketplace enables Ugandan women, youth, girls, and Congolese refugees to find hope and transformation through creativity and craftsmanship in the midst of adversity. Resilient women, youth, and girls have embarked on a journey of hope, transformation, and empowerment. Some are refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who have found solace and strength in their newfound skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Others are Ugandan women, youth, and girls who are improving their lives through internships, full-time employment, and craftsmanship.
